Corsavy, one of the prettiest villages in the Vallespir with its 250 inhabitants, is sometimes named the ‘Balcony of Canigou’.

The Romanesque chapel of Saint-Martin-de-Corsavy is the focus of a local restoration project. There is one restaurant, which serves local produce and has a small grocery shop.

The village has a campsite, tennis court, swimming pool and a museum.
In close proximity to the village there are places to simply enjoy a picnic, relaxing to the sounds and sights of the countryside. There are many longer walks from Corsavy including one to “Leca” a small forgotten village located in a ravine.

From Leca one can ascend to the old miner’s hostel at Batere (1500m) where there is a bar-restaurant and lodgings.
